Rubber Ducky Regatta

Mobile's first-ever Rubber Ducky Regatta will make a splash on August 26, 2017 by dropping 5,000 rubber duckies into Mobile River at Cooper Riverside Park. The "adopted" duckies will race to the finish line and the lucky ducky's adopter will receive the grand prize of a Carnival Cruise for two. All proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, which houses families with seriously ill and injured children being treated at area hospitals and staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

Rubber ducky adoptions are available for $5 online at rubberduckyregatta.com, or "quack packs" of five, twelve or twenty-five duckies at special rates. By adopting a rubber ducky, not only will you have a chance to win prizes including a private Duck Boat Tour with Gulf Coast Ducks, Bay Bears tickets and a suite night, four adult passes to Bellingrath Gardens and more, but you will be providing funds for a safe haven to all the families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House while their child is receiving treatment.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 26 and the race will begin at 11 a.m. The Rubber Ducky Regatta invites all families in surrounding areas to enjoy a morning full of food trucks, prizes and family-friendly fun at Cooper Riverside Park in downtown Mobile. Admission for the Rubber Ducky Regatta is free to attend and any remaining rubber duckies will be available for adoption prior to the race. You do not need to be present to win.

For more information on prizes or to adopt your ducky, visit rubberduckyregatta.com, or call the Ronald McDonald House at (251) 694.6873.
