A total of 100,000 square feet of space is available in the Exhibit Hall. Total floor space is divisible in a 50/50 split. Eight structural columns are set on 150-foot centers yielding 54,000 square feet of unobstructed space. The floor has a support of capacity 350 pounds per square foot. Light level (metal halide & high-pressure sodium) is 80-foot candles; incandescent lighting (quartz) is 25-foot candles. Exhibit Hall utilities are delivered every 30 feet by center flush mounted ground boxes. A VIP lounge overlooks both the exhibit area and the river. The building meets all requirements for handicapped accessibility.
The Arthur R. Outlaw - Mobile Convention Center has a fiber backbone capable of supporting up to a 10Mb dedicated connection to the Internet. This 10Mb pipe can be deployed to virtually any location in our facility with as many as 16 static (public) IP addresses and 250 private IP addresses.
