Football fans from all over the country look forward to bowl game excitement generated by the GMAC Bowl and the Senior Bowl each year. With two NCAA sanctioned games, the Mobile Bay area is known as the College Bowl Capital of the South.

Football isn't our only interest, the Mobile Bay area hosts world-class events in many other sports including tennis, softball, soccer, track and golf. Local collegiate sports are popular as fans come out to cheer on their favorite teams. The Annual Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo draws fishermen from across the nation and the only tournament of champions on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour takes place each fall in Mobile Bay. In late March the world renowned Azalea Trail Run, one of the most scenic race routes in the country, attracts world famous athletes to Mobile Bay.

The Mobile Bay area also offers exciting minor league baseball at Hank Aaron Stadium, home of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks affiliated Mobile BayBears. Year round sporting entertainment is alive at Mobile Greyhound Park where the dogs race nightly and you can catch drag racing at the NHRA sanctioned Mobile Dragway every weekend. Opening in 2009 is the highly anticipated Alabama Motorsports Park; A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway. Come and play in exciting Mobile Bay!
