City of Mobile Independence Day Celebration

The City of Mobile is going full-on Red, White and Blue for America’s 243rd birthday! We are talkin’ live music, outdoor family fun, food vendors and even a water slide in Cooper Riverside Park!

That’s right, we said water slide!  Right beside Cooper Riverside Park at GulfQuest will be even more celebrations. Yes, they will have a water slide for the kiddos outside and the museum will be open from 2 pm-7pm for $5 tours.

But wait.. there’s more!  Residents and visitors alike can enjoy FREE CRUISES on the Perdido Queen Paddle Wheel Boat on July 4 at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.  The Perdido Queen is docked behind the Mobile Convention Center just a few steps from Cooper Riverside Park. Each cruise has a limited capacity so it’s first-come-first-served.

The fun really ramps up once the sun goes down!

At  7 p.m. The Mobile Symphonic Pops Band will begin their concert featuring traditional patriotic songs.   We ask you, what’s the 4th of July without fireworks? At 9 p.m. the Fireworks Extravaganza is lighting up the sky over the Mobile River. Immediately following the fireworks, is more music and good times!
