Iron Hand Homebrew Fest

Iron Hand Brewing presents Home Brew Beer Fest benefitting Camp SMILE.

Homebrewers from South Alabama and all along the Gulf Coast will present their finest home brewed beer, cider and mead for your enjoyment, tasting and ultimate judgement. Each brewer will provide one or more of their best styles and you will have the opportunity, and yes responsibility, to judge them in a number of categories. Anticipated judging categories will including best IPA, Sour, Ale, Lager, and of course Best of Show. The homebrew will be celebrated in the lot next to Iron Hand Brewing in downtown Mobile.

Your attendance and judging at the event is absolutely free of charge. This is a charity fundraiser so donations are welcome, encouraged and greatly appreciated.

We also have commemorative tasting glasses and t-shirts available for pre-purchase and pickup the day of the event. All proceeds from event donations and sales will be for the benefit of Camp SMILE.

Hosted by United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile, Camp SMILE is a residential camp for individuals with disabilities five to fifty years old and their siblings. We offer a unique one-to-one camper-to-counselor ratio which helps campers adjust to life outside their normal routine and helps foster genuine relationships between campers and counselors. Here, campers not only have the chance to participate in physical activities like kayaking, fishing, and horseback riding; they also meet others whose abilities and life experiences are similar to their own.
