The Bishop State Community College Foundation would like to invite you to the 2nd Annual Bishop State Wildcat Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony. It will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Downtown Mobile Historic District Hotel. Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Inductee and former NFL player, Scott Hunter, will serve as the guest speaker. WKRG weekend sports anchor, Robby Baker, will serve as Master of Ceremony. The event will recognize and honor former members of the Bishop State Athletics Department and will include dinner, recognition of our honorees, and what is sure to be several trips down memory lane.

This year we have eight honorees who will be inducted into the Bishop State Wildcat Sports Hall of Fame. The honorees are:
Ronald Crimes - Bishop State Men's Basketball Player
Oly Johnson - Bishop State Women's Softball Player
Robert Parker– Bishop State’s former Basketball game announcer for 35+ years
Mel Showers – Bishop State Men's Basketball Player
Charles Smith – Bishop State Men's Basketball Player 1974-75
Louise Thrower – Founder and Organizer of the Ladies Wildcat Dance Team and Cheerleaders
Darryl Walton - Bishop State Men's Basketball Player and Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball Team
The members of the 1998-99 Bishop State Women's Basketball Championship Team
The Wildcat Hall of Fame is a fundraiser. Your support will help enhance the athletic experience of student-athletes at Bishop State. All donations are tax-deductible.
