One of America’s melting-pot metropolises, Mobile has embraced new cultures and lifestyles for more than 300 years! Unpack your bags and get ready to explore the lively culture of Mobile!

Historic hotels, boutique beauties, and everything in between; stay in style in Mobile!

Spend your afternoon on a tour, or two, getting to know Mobile. We know you’re already interested, but isn’t it proper to get to know your significant other a little better before taking them out on a date? Choose from a variety of city tours to really get to know the port city.

In case you didn’t know, Mobile’s food scene is on fire. Dine with us as James Beard-nominated chefs serve up culinary masterpieces or roll up your sleeves for the best BBQ of your life. We have it all in Mobile and we are always happy to share!

Treat yourself to one of Mobile’s finest craft cocktail bars like The Haberdasher or POST, the purveyors of fine libations. Mixologists will create classic concoctions as well as fresh and original, contemporary drinks. Along the ever-lively Dauphin Street, you’ll find a variety of nightlife options to cap off your night.

Ooo and ahh over the brilliant works of history’s greatest masters, contemporary risk-takers, and emerging minds at the Mobile Museum of Art. The museum boasts over 6,000 works of fine and decorative arts from America, Asia, and Europe. Block a few hours to enjoy their special 2021 exhibition, Gordon Parks: Segregation Story in Mobile 1956.

If you want to dine like a quintessential Mobilian, find the local favorites on menus everywhere! Locals Tip: You don’t have to wish the walls could talk at Wintzell’s Oyster House. Stop by for a fresh bowl of gumbo or raw oysters and enjoy the thousands of homespun sayings adorning the walls. It’s often said that “mama cooks best!” Enjoy southern home cookin’ while you dine at Mama’s on Dauphin.

Art lovers flock to the streets of downtown Mobile where numerous art galleries can be found within a few blocks of one another. The Mobile Arts Council - Gallery @ Room 1927 showcases artists of every experience level. The Sophiella Gallery is the place to be if you’re looking for contemporary fine art and solo exhibitions. Find art from every corner of the globe at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center.

Take in the sights of the city from 34-floors above. Dramatic views meet distinctive dining at Dauphin’s. The menu spans every flavor of French Creole, but it’s the panorama spanning Mobile Bay that first wows you on arrival to the 34th floor of the historic Trustmark Building. End your night with the sound of smooth jazz and a hand-crafted Hemingway Daiquiri at Las Floriditas; a prohibition-era speakeasy designed in tribute to the birthplace of the daiquiri – El Floridita in Havana, Cuba.

It’s no secret that Mobile is home to some of the most beautiful homes in the south. Find out for yourself by visiting one (or all) of our charming downtown and midtown historic districts. All within a short distance of each other, you’ll experience the true heart and soul of Mobile.

As if you haven’t seen enough, the breathtaking views of our skyline sitting on the waters of Mobile Bay are the perfect way to end your stay. Fresh local seafood along Mobile’s causeway will not disappoint your tastebuds.

**Should you be visiting us on the weekend of the 2nd Friday of the month, be sure to check out LoDa ArtWalk in downtown Mobile.
