Visit Mobile has been closely monitoring the impacts of this pandemic as it relates to the City of Mobile and the State of Alabama. First and foremost, the safety of our visitors and neighbors is of the utmost importance to us. This is a rapidly growing situation with new developments happening around the clock. Our organization is in constant communication with public health organizations, both nationally and locally, and will continue to monitor new developments and take proactive measures as needed. We are committed to keeping our visitors, partners, and colleagues updated by providing the best information that is available to us. 

What You Need To Know

Per Governor Kay Ivey, Alabama is under an official State of Emergency. Additionally, Mobile Mayor, Sandy Stimpson has declared a Public Health Emergency for the City of Mobile. 

The Alabama Department of Public Health is currently reporting 999 coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Alabama with the Mobile County Health Department confirming 53 active cases and one death in Mobile County.  Ongoing case updates can be found at the  Alabama Department of Public Health
