Mobile can and does host of diverse number of sporting events, both big and small. Mobile has a rich sports tradition, annually hosting The Reese's Senior Bowl, the NCAA post-season Mobile AL Bowl (formerly known as the Go Daddy Bowl), Gulf Coast Challenge, the ARCA Mobile 200 auto race, the prestigious Azalea Trail Run 10K, the Mobile Challenge of Champions high school track & field meet, the Airbus LPGA Classic, and the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo.
Often referred to as the “Gateway to the Gulf;” Mobile is conveniently located at the intersection of interstates I-10 and I-65. The Port City, is accessible by two regional airports (MOB & BFM) and just a short drive from three international airports (GPT, PNS, & MSY). Mobile’s semi-tropical weather, variety of indoor and outdoor sports venues, unrivaled Southern hospitality paired with a walkable downtown with attractions, theaters, shops, restaurants, art galleries and accommodations; makes Mobile a year round win for sporting events.
