Thursday, June 11: Your Alive with Pride Era Starts Now
Welcome to Mobile! Before the party kicks off, drop your bags off at one of the hotels in our downtown area. If you want to stay near the action, The Battle House Hotel, The Admiral Hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites - Downtown Historic District and Hilton Garden Inn Mobile Downtown are all amazing options.

Hello Pride!
Let’s get this party started right! Kick off your Alive with Pride weekend experience at Pride Paint & Pints hosted by Love and Adventure Studios and Britney Taylor Art at Flip Side Bar & Patio. Paint your own pride-themed disco ball on canvas with all of the colors and sparkles your heart can muster from 6-9 p.m. Cocktails and other drinks will be available for purchase.
Connect with the Community
Miss Mobile Gay Pride Legacy Show and the PrideFest block party deserve your full attention. Starting at 8 p.m., join Mobile’s LGBTQ+ community in celebrating visibility and love at a block party on Conception Street in front of FlipSide. At 8:30 p.m., former titleholders of Moss Mobile Gay Pride will be crowning the 2026 winner at B-Bob’s Downtown. Enjoy colorful performances from Venus Shante Da’Vis, Zamareyah Dawn and Nicole DuBois while you’re there.

Experience the Colorful Traditions of Mardi Gras
We can’t talk about Mobile’s community without talking about Mardi Gras. Visit the Mobile Carnival Museum and discover why Mobile proudly claims the title of being the birthplace of America's original Mardi Gras. Learn about the origins and traditions of various parading societies, including the Order of Osiris and Krewe of Phoenix, two LGBTQ+-established groups.
Join the Fun on Joachim
After you wander through the Mobile Carnival Museum’s dazzling halls, find your new favorite book or work of art on Joachim Street. The Haunted Bookshop is featuring select works from LGBTQ+ authors. Check the shelves for rainbow tape! The Mobile Arts Council Gallery at Room 1927 is showcasing various paintings, sculptures and other forms of art created by LGBTQ and Black members, in time for Pride Month and Juneteenth.

Take a Piece of Mobile With You
Whether you’re in awe or the work in our galleries or buying your new favorite souvenir, Mobile has plenty of shopping options for you to experience. Visit Sophiella Gallery, Muffinjaw Designs Studio and other art spaces throughout the city. Bienville Souvenirs & Gifts, The Frenchmen, Soul Kiss Vintage and other shops downtown are perfect places to buy items to take home.

Before LODA Artwalk and the second half of PrideFest begin, grab a light bite and drink (or two) from Penton’s Bistro. Watch the diverse and colorful crowds gather in downtown Mobile over a cocktail and crawfish beignets.

Wear your favorite Pride outfits, grab your friends and get ready for a night filled with fun. LODA Artwalk, one of our favorite second weekend traditions, is a vibe all year long, but June hits a little differently.
