Exploreum Science Center

It's so easy to lose track of time at the Exploreum Science Center. Build, create and explore the human body, space, chemistry and more. Before you go, catch a larger-than-life show in the PCI Digital Dome Theater (formerly IMAX).

History Museum of Mobile 

At the History Museum of Mobile, our city's nearly 325-year history comes to life. The immersive children's discovery rooms allow the younger guests to explore a French ship, play real African drums, try on colonial clothing and more.  

Alabama Aquarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab

Do you want to touch a stingray? Learn about the various creatures and critters that reside in Mobile Bay and the surrounding areas at the Alabama Aquarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab. 

USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park

Adults and kids never fail to be amazed by the ships, submarines, planes, helicopters and more at the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park, located just through Bankhead or Wallace Tunnels, leaving downtown. Don't forget to snap a pic on top of the "Might A's" deck!

Mobile Museum of Art

Explore over 6,000 works of art and wander through the immersive For Children: The Elements of Art and Design Exhibit. This museum regularly hosts family and kid-focused workshops, so keep an eye on our events calendar. You won't regret it! 

LoDa Artwalk and Second Weekends

Every second weekend of the month, downtown Mobile transforms into a hub of funky and creative fun during LoDa Artwalk on Friday evenings.

It's always tee time in Mobile! The Mobile Bay area offers more than 25 courses and over 378 holes all just a short drive from downtown. Alabama is home to the internationally renowned Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, play 3 courses and 54 holes on RTJ's Magnolia Grove right here in Mobile.
