DAY ONE | Arrival and Afternoon Adventures

Hey there! Welcome to Mobile. Before you explore everything that our beautiful city has to offer, get settled in at your hotel. Whether you're searching for luxury, comfort or a unique and historic inn, Mobile's hotels have options that align with your preferences and budget.  

1 p.m.

From our people and food to our attractions and experiences, Mobile is a diverse city. Here are two options you can use to make the most of your time while still making memories and having fun. Heads up! These experiences require travel between locations. Explore our available transportation options. 

Option 1: Take it out west! - West Mobile is home to some of the city's most eclectic eats and things to do. Dine at Meat Boss, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse and POST on the Hill are all amazing places that highlight our culinary scene. After you eat, visit the Mobile Museum of Art for some artsy and creative fun or visit the Archaeology Museum at the University of South Alabama to learn about the area's pre-historic roots. 
 
Option 2: A Day near Mobile Bay! - Our backyard is packed with plenty of things to do, eat and see! Visit 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center to learn about the beautiful biodiversity of Mobile Bay or take a trek through USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. The USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM are waiting to be explored! Bluegill Restaurant, Felix's Fish Camp, Original Oyster House and Ralph and Kacoo's are all delicious dining options that offer amazing views of Mobile Bay.  

Option 3: Stay Downtown! - If you choose to stay downtown, there are plenty of fun options that will keep you entertained. Check out our Mobile Trail Mix to get a taste of various experiences in the city. Walk through our Mobile Mural Trail to fall in love with local art that adorns the walls of downtown. Dumbwaiter, Wintzell's Oyster House, Box Owt and The Noble South are just a few of our favorite downtown eats.

Time to head back to the hotel! Take a moment to refresh and rest before your next adventure.  

5 p.m.

Where will your curiosity lead you next? Taste your way through Mobile during a Bienville Bites Food Tour, join the fun at Loda Artwalk or catch a performance at the Saenger Theater. DAY TWO | Fun Moments in Mobile 

10:00 a.m.

In honor of your last day in the Port City, it's only right to say goodbye with brunch. Bistro St. Emanuel and Ruby Slipper offer brunch specials every day. If you're here during the weekend, check out our full list of brunch options.

Downtown Mobile's historic homes provide interesting and immersive ways to get acquainted with the city's historic roots. View various pieces of art and furnishings that were owned and loved by our previous residents. 

2:00 p.m.

Before you head to the train station, take a piece of Mobile with you! Do Goods Mercantile, Urban Emporium and Bienville Souvenirs and Gifts are perfect places to grab a memento that details your time in the Port City.
