Visit Mobile is always seeking volunteers to support our Welcome Center and other local events.
Duties include greeting visitors with a welcoming demeanor and helping them find answers to their questions about Mobile. You do not need to be a Mobile expert to assist others; you just need to be willing to help them find the answers. We’ll train you on the various tools we use: our website, digital kiosks, printed destination guides and maps and our Welcome Center, which is full of rack cards, posters and flyers. In the process, you will learn more about all the great things to see and do in Mobile.
Volunteering can be a regular commitment or an occasional one. Regular shifts at the Welcome Center can be scheduled, or you may want to help on occasion for sporting events, conventions and similar events. We can accommodate your schedule! It is a great way to meet new people, learn more about your city and share your civic pride with visitors from around the world.
