BRUNCH

No girls’ weekend is complete without brunch! Spot of Tea, located in the heart of downtown, is the perfect place for you and your girls to kick off your weekend. Be sure to try their famous Strawberry Iced tea or mimosas and enjoy some of their famous classics such as, the Monte Cristo, Eggs Cathedral, or Banana Fosters. Grab your girls, a floppy hat, a string of pearls, and get ready to brunch!

LUNCH & BUBBLES

If charcuterie boards and wine sound like your perfect girls’ night, you can’t visit Mobile without stopping by The Cheese Cottage. Here, you'll find specially curated cheese selections for cheese boards, sandwiches and perfectly paired wine. While you’re going to want to share many things on the menu, you won’t want to share your glass of wine! The outdoor patio is a great place to stay and chat for a while with the girls.

SIP

Mobile has many options to choose from to sip your favorite cocktail! Located on Dauphin Street, POST is the ideal spot for pre or POST-dinner drinks. POST specializes in hand-crafted cocktails and wine. Some of the new specialty summer cocktails include: Watermelon Mule, Summer Showers, and Hot Girl Summer. If light, summer drinks aren’t for you, their “Bad & Boozy” menu features cocktails like an Espresso Martinis or the Reese Puff that is sure to be a hit. The navy and gold interior, or the outside patio will make for aesthetically pleasing photos with your group that will definitely be Instagram worthy!

If you and your ladies are more into brews than bubbles, check out one of our local breweries. Located within walking distance, we have many options for local craft beers right downtown.

DINE

It’s often said, if you want to get to know a place, start with the local food. A nibble here, a little grazing there, and lots of history and culture in between. Don’t just enjoy one restaurant when you can dine at multiple delicious restaurants while enjoying the beautiful scenery of downtown Mobile. Bienville Bites Food Tours celebrate classic Mobile favorites, with sweet and savory options as well as unique alcohol tastings.

After dinner, dessert is a must! Be sure to visit the sweetest place in Mobile: Mo’Bay Bengient Co. These warm and delicious treats are paired with dipping syrups like cinnamon and buttercream, or one of their seasonal syrups such as key lime pie. P.S.: Powdered sugar is considered a fashion statement in Mobile!

FUN

We know a girls’ trip is not complete without a little nightlife fun! The LoDa District is the perfect place to stroll through downtown (with your go-cup of course!) and take in the sights and sounds. Our nightlife and entertainment options provide visitors a unique glimpse into the heart and soul of this lively, southern city! If you’re looking for some fun entertainment, be sure to check out B-Bob’s, a multi-level nightclub featuring one of the Gulf Coast’s best performances! Head down into an old bank vault and check out Mobile's only speakeasy, Las Floriditas ... but make sure you know the password! Grab your ladies and hit the dance floor at Veet’s or head over to a variety of other bars to keep the party going! Be sure to check out the line up at the Saenger Theatre or kick back and relax while watching a show on the big screen at the Crescent Theater!
