Carnival Spirit introduces new, exciting itineraries.

Visit Mobile is excited to share Carnival Cruise Line’s announcement of the 2026 – 27 lineup of cruises aboard the Carnival Spirit from the Port of Mobile. The new cruise vacations are now available to book sailings to popular destinations, including Celebration Key, Princess Cays, Nassau and Half Moon Cay.

“Mobile has experienced unprecedented growth during the last few years and there is no end in sight,” said David Clark, CEO and President of Visit Mobile. “The drive to the Port of Mobile is the closest and most convenient from Central North America. With the new Mobile International Airport (BFM) opening in early 2026, the timing is exceptional for these new itineraries.”

From October 2026 through March 2027, Carnival Spirit will resume its seasonal schedule of six-, seven- and eight-day cruises from Mobile.

“We continue to sail from more U.S. homeports than any other line, and our 2026 – 27 offerings … are great examples of that commitment to provide our guests with the convenience of sailing from homeports that are a short drive away,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

Notably, the company unveiled an additional 16-day, one-way Journeys cruise. The Spirit will return to its homeport of Mobile with a unique itinerary that transits the Panama Canal. The cruise departs Seattle on October 8, 2026, and stops in Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas, Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia.

Carnival recently opened a Carnival Journeys sailing from Mobile to Seattle that takes place earlier in the year, in April 2026. These sailings will be the first cruises connecting the ship’s two seasonal homeport cities.
