A Foodie’s Guide to Summer Flavors in Mobile
Let your appetite guide you to the Port City
All year long, Mobile is home to delicious plates with bold coastal tastes; however, summer brings new, vibrant menus and dining experiences. Indulge in smoky and flavorful BBQ, colorful salads and seasonal seafood classics. Menu items like Dauphins' delta cakes, Noble South's salted caramel tarte and Slurp Society's Crawfish Rangoon Nachos mark the beginning of one of the tastiest times of year. Summer isn't really summer without (over)indulging in ice cream. Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe and Three Georges is one of our go-to stops for a sweet treat.
Food isn't the only thing on our minds this summer. Your summer experience in Mobile wouldn't be complete without sipping seasonal cocktails from various restaurants like POST, The Haberdasher, Las Floriditas and Squid Ink Eclectic Eats and Drinks. Knucklebones Elixir Co., Great Day Latte and other coffee shops in the city offer summer takes on traditional coffee drinks.
In Mobile, summer also means the return of Mobile Tiki Week. On August 18-23, 2025, various bars, eateries and restaurants in our downtown area create tropical-themed dishes, cocktails and other drinks that will transport you to an island with one taste.
