A Tropical Weekend in Downtown Mobile

Aloha, adventurers! Every summer, Mobile Tiki Week transforms the city into a vibrant island-inspired escape. With tropical cocktails, Caribbean-inspired cuisine, themed events and tons of festive flair, it’s a full week of fun—but if you're just in for a long weekend, we’ve got you covered. This Thursday-Sunday itinerary is your guide to sipping, savoring and celebrating your way through the heart of downtown Mobile. Be sure to use the 2025 Mobile Tiki Week Experience Trail to check in and unlock prizes along the way.

Thursday, August 21 | Welcome to Mobile (Tiki Week’s Version)


2:00 PM – Arrive & Check In

Settle into your hotel. Downtown favorites like The Admiral, The Battle House Hotel, Hampton Inn Express & Suites Downtown or Fort Condé Inn put you within walking distance of all the Tiki Week fun. 

3:30 PM – Coffee With a Twist at Nova Espresso

Start your weekend with a creative, tiki-themed iced latte or mocktail at this artsy and picturesque coffee and pastry shop known for its rotating specialty drinks. While you’re there, check out the tiki-themed menu at Front Yard Tacos. 

5:00 PM – Tiki Cocktail Happy Hour at The Haberdasher

Sip your way into paradise with a handcrafted tropical cocktail and light bites at The Haberdasher, the birthplace of Tiki Week. Their bartenders pull out all the stops during Tiki Week with island flavors, fun glassware and some of the best decor in town. Don’t forget to tag us in your pics!

6:30 PM – Dinner at Squid Ink Eclectic Eats & Drinks (Tiki Week Special Menu)

Squid Ink Eclectic Eats & Drinks never fails to wow us with its innovative takes on regular menu items and we can GUARANTEE that Tiki Week will be no different.

8:00 PM – Live Music + Drinks at Braided River Brewing Co.

Wrap up your first night with a cold local brew and good vibes at this downtown brewery

10:00 PM - Keep the Party Going!

Continue the night over live music and drinks at Merry Widow.


Friday, August 22 | Sip, Stroll & Soak Up the Vibes 


9:00 AM – All About Brunch in Mobile!

Fuel up with a bold and delicious Southern brunch before diving into Day 2 of Mobile Tiki Week! 

11:00 AM – Explore Local Shops + Photo Ops

Stroll Dauphin Street, visit Bienville Square, and pop into Urban Emporium or Do Goods Mercantile. Snap a few tiki-themed selfies and tag us on social media! Bonus points if you’re wearing a Hawaiian shirt!

1:00 PM – Tiki Tasting with the Mobile Tiki Week Experience Trail

It’s time to put that 2025 Mobile Tiki Week Experience Trail pass to use! Spend the afternoon eating and sipping time away at participating restaurants and bars. Hit up places like Grace, Slurp Society, Velvet Pig, Moe’s Original BBQ and Debris for tiki drinks and themed dishes. The more check-ins, the closer you are to rewards!

4:00 PM – Cool Down at Oyster City Brewing

Take a break from the heat with a sip (or two) at this So Mobile brewery. Look for their Tiki Week flavors, which are available for a limited time only!

6:00 PM – Sunset Dinner at Dauphin’s*

Enjoy sweeping views of the bay and a tropical-inspired menu curated just for Tiki Week. Sip something fruity and toast to paradise as the sun sets.

8:30 PM – After-Dinner Fun at Las Floriditas*

This Cuban-style speakeasy will be glowing with Tiki Week flair. Think flaming drinks, live music, and island ambiance behind a hidden bookshelf.

**Note: Dauphin’s and Las Floriditas follow a dress code. Las Floriditas requires a password for entry. The password is revealed every day at noon on their Facebook page.


Saturday, August 23 | Let the Luau Continue 

 

9:00 AM – Breakfast Break!

Can’t start your adventure off on an empty stomach.  

11:00 AM – Explore a Museum (or two!)

Whether you choose to explore our immersive downtown galleries or wander to the unique exhibits in West Mobile, you’re bound to leave feeling inspired and amazed by the mesmerizing museums of the Port City. 

1:00 PM – Dessert Before Dinner

The Port City is home to some of the most decadent desserts in the world. Grab a light snack at Mo’Bay Beignet, Cammie’s Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe, Three Georges Fine Southern Chocolates or EllenJay Bakery.

4:00 PM – Eat Your Heart Out at a Bienville Bites Food Tour

Put your improv skills to the test and enjoy a night out at Lei’d to Rest: A Tropical Murder Mystery Tour hosted by Bienville Bites!  

8:00 PM – Need a Nightcap?

Keep the good vibes going at one of our four downtown breweries or bars!

Sunday, August 24  | One Last Taste of Paradise 

9:00 AM – Easy Like a Sunday Morning

Ease into your final day with a laid-back coffee experience at one of our local cafes or walk around and soak in the sights of Mobile. 

10:30 AM – Goodbye Dauphin Street!

Take a peaceful walk along the heart of downtown Mobile. Fall in love with the architecture, check out our murals and reflect on a weekend well spent. 

12:00 PM – Farewell Lunch at Penton’s Bistro

Wrap up your trip with one final tropical meal. Penton’s Bistro’s bold flavors and fun décor are the perfect sendoff from your Tiki Week escape.

2:00 PM – Final Check-Ins & Reward Redemption

Don’t forget to redeem your points and grab your prizes at the Visit Mobile Welcome Center inside of the History Museum of Mobile! Who says the adventure has to end?
