Mobile, Ala. (April 1, 2022) — Visit Mobile, the city’s convention and visitors bureau, celebrates the extraordinary leadership of David Clark, president & CEO, on his fifth year anniversary.
“We're excited to celebrate David reaching his fifth anniversary milestone with our organization," said Jay Garraway, vice president of administration for Visit Mobile. "David embodies the traits that help make Visit Mobile continue to be an outstanding organization within our city: hard work, commitment, and treating others the way you want to be treated. He is a great role model for our team and partners and we'd like to personally thank him for his contributions and look forward to his continued innovation and leadership in the years to come.”
Clark currently serves as President of the University of South Alabama’s Hospitality and Tourism Advisory Board and serves on the boards of the Alabama Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors, Alabama Travel Council, the Southern Rail Commission, Coastal Alabama Partnership and the Exploreum Science Center.
During the last five years, Clark has made tremendous steps to ensure Visit Mobile is a transparent organization committed to the betterment of our city. Under his leadership, Visit Mobile has seen back-to-back record years in convention sales, the passage of the Tourism Improvement District, destination development and much more.
