Traveling solo means tailored experiences, where you can focus entirely on your interests and passions, whether that is art, history, nature or adventure. But serenity does not have to come at a price – there are a multitude of ways to enjoy Mobile with your budget in mind.

ArtWalk & Roll Mobile

Every second weekend of the month, on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., downtown Mobile comes alive during ArtWalk! This is the perfect event to enjoy an evening, grab a drink or beignets and browse local galleries, public spaces and pop-up markets. ArtWalk celebrates Mobile's diversity; visitors will find both the contemporary and traditional while enjoying all the flavors of Mobile.

Find your rhythm with Roll Mobile! Inside the perimeter of ArtWalk, a city block surrounding historic Bienville Square is transformed into a skate rink with DJ Geaux spinning the tunes for all levels of skaters. Skate rentals, socks and safety gear are available on-site!

Art Galleries

If you find yourself in Mobile any other time of the month (or crave MORE art), plenty of art galleries offer free admission. The budget-conscious will find both the contemporary and traditional, from down-home crafts to elegant furnishings, in Mobile’s wide variety of art galleries.
