Mobile is home to a thriving LGBTQIA+ community of locals and visitors alike. We embrace all love, and our inclusive culture is sure to let everyone experience genuine southern hospitality while visiting the Azalea City. Mobile offers many LGBTQIA+ establishments and events year-round.
While visiting Mobile, be sure to visit the LoCo (Lower Conti St.) Party District for one of the Gulf Coast's best drag shows at the multi-level nightclub, B-Bob's! Just around the corner, you'll find several other LGBTQIA+ friendly bars, such as FlipSide and Gabriel's! Just a short drive from downtown, you'll find Mobile's premier lesbian destination, Herz, a comfortable place for relaxing and socializing!
As one of America's melting-pot metropolises, Mobile has embraced new cultures and lifestyles for more than 300 years and is home to a thriving arts scene. Take a stroll down Dauphin Street, where colorful murals, sculptures, amazing galleries, and unique shopping is around every corner.
Make plans to celebrate Pride Month at LoDa ArtWalk on June 10 from 5:30 pm until 9 pm. Join in on the fun in downtown Mobile for a Drag Queen-led second line parade, a drag show in Cathedral Square, local artists, exhibits, kids activities and more!
And be sure to mark your calendar for the Pride Month Family Picnic on September 18 at Langan Park Pavilion. Due to extreme heat, this event was canceled for June, but the party is still on in September. Make plans to attend!
Come celebrate ALL love in the city that was Born to Celebrate!
