Red or White earns nomination for Best Wine Shop in the U.S.

Mobilians will not be surprised to learn that Red or White, located on Dauphin Street and one mile from downtown, has earned a spot on USA Today's Readers' Choice Awards ballot for 2026's 10 Best Wine Shops. The shop is more than a wine retailer, it's home to James Beard Award finalist Chef Arwen Rice. Her plates are masterpieces and the specials highlight locally sourced ingredients, served alongside homemade, wood-fired pizzas and delectable tasting boards.
