Visit Mobile is excited to welcome approximately 100 guests to the Port City, from November 15 – 17, 2024, to promote the Carnival Spirit and provide a custom, unique opportunity to experience the City of Mobile’s vibrant culture.

The group includes directors from Carnival Cruise Lines’ national office, whose primary focus is business development. Most guests are top-producing travel advisors, or travel agents, from across the U.S. These advisors were selected to travel to Mobile because of their successful businesses and after completing an online ambassador program as an education component to familiarize them with Mobile.

“The focus of this experience is to provide the travel advisors first-hand knowledge of everything our city offers, as they prepare to promote the Mobile culture to their clients,” said Patty Kieffer, Senior Vice President of Visit Mobile. “Sixteen of our area hotels have Park & Cruise packages, allowing visitors to explore and enjoy Mobile days before or after their cruise.”

Visit Mobile organizes these immersive experiences for travel advisors to keep Mobile a top prospect as a distinct and valuable destination for their travel clients, especially those interested in cruises.

Attendees will arrive in Mobile on Friday, November 15, where they will be welcomed by Mayor Sandy Stimpson, Visit Mobile’s President and CEO, David Clark and other representatives at a reception at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico.

Weekend events and festivities include panel discussions, one-on-one opportunities with area hotel representatives and custom attraction experiences, culminating with an extensive tour of the Carnival Spirit on Sunday.
