Visit Mobile has been nominated for Best Local TV Ad in the Media category for the 2024 Nappie Readers' Choice Awards, presented by Lagniappe, the largest independently owned weekly newspaper in Mobile. In March 2024, the video earned the Gold Award from the Mobile Bay chapter of the American Advertising Federation. Visit Mobile's Creative Director, Oliver Dorgan, wrote and produced the feature, which highlights the many ways in which the Port City is a welcoming destination for pets.
