We don't know about you, but second weekends are our favorite time of the month. Downtown Mobile will be covered in all things artsy. Vendors will be lining the streets and activities will be available for guests of all ages. Here are the themes for our LoDa Artwalks taking place in spring:

St. Patrick's Day Celebrations | March 14 & 17

We’ll be seeing green all St. Patrick’s Day weekend long! Kick off the festivities at O’Daly’s Irish Pub with drink specials and continue the celebration at Callaghan’s Irish Social Club during their lively St. Paddy’s Day block party on Saturday, March 14. The fun rolls on March 17 with the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade down Dauphin Street, hosted by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, followed by even more Irish cheer, live music and shenanigans at your favorite local pubs.

Home and Gardens Show | March 19-22

Do you remember the Festival of Flowers? Enjoy this reimagined take on the cherished event this March. This curated event will feature all things antique, design and timeless elegance. Even with the extra glamor, the event’s mission stays the same: supporting the ECMO program at USA Health Providence Hospital.

 

Mobile Ballet’s Cinderella | March 28-29

One of the most renowned classic fairytales will be coming to life at the Saenger Theater this spring. Immerse yourself in a world of grace, poise and elegance as the Mobile Ballet presents two mesmerizing performances of Cinderella on March 28-29. 

 

Gulf Coast Chinese Lantern Festival | April 16-June 21

Bellingrath Gardens & Home’s Gulf Coast Chinese Lantern Festival is returning to light up the region this spring! New lanterns and interactive experiences will be awaiting visitors at the gardens. Find your new favorite spring experience in between the hydrangeas, roses and other seasonal blooms. 

Kites Over Mobile | April 18-19

Set your eyes on the #SoMobile skies during Kites Over Mobile. Watch kite demonstrations and fly your own at USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park.

 

16th Annual Delta Woods & Waters Expo | April 25

Held at the AWF Delta & Bay Conservation Center, the Delta Woods & Water Expo is a must-attend event for outdoor enthusiasts of all experience levels—from seasoned pros to weekend adventurers. This interactive expo brings the region’s outdoor culture to life with engaging, hands-on demonstrations, expert-led workshops and educational exhibits focused on conservation, hunting, fishing and wildlife stewardship.
