Bring Your Meetings Home

We all travel and attend meetings and conventions across the globe, it is time to come back home and show off your own city.

Meetings and conventions, large and small, represent a significant part of Mobile’s Tourism Economy. Visit Mobile actively promotes meetings and conventions to planners all over the country in hopes of bringing those meetings to experience Mobile’s hotels, restaurants and attractions. The meetings and convention markets include associations, corporate, incentive, sports, social, fraternal, religious, military and more.

Why Meetings Matter:

We have some of the finest hotels and meeting space in the country.
Premier Facilities:  For larger meetings, the Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center is the largest convention center in the State of Alabama.
Economic Impact: Meetings and conventions represent a significant part of our $1.8 billion tourism economy and employ 22,000+ tourism jobs.
Walkable Downtown: We have a remarkable walkable, vibrant downtown, making it easy and experiential for convention and meeting attendees to enjoy. How many cities do you visit that you can walk to more than 50 restaurants within eight square blocks?
Community Benefits: The meetings economy fuels our hotels, restaurants and attractions, which also enhances local resident’s enjoyment to live, work and play.

Contact David Clark, President & CEO of Visit Mobile, and give him the meeting name and contact (25 to 6,000 attendees). David will take it from there and enter you in a raffle which includes cruises from Mobile on the Carnival Spirit, fantastic hotel stays and restaurant certificates. The “bring your meeting home” campaign will last until October 1, 2025.

It is simple, one email or phone call. David can be reached at dclark@mobile.org or at 251-591-4357.
