Come one, come all! Mobile Foodie Fest is a month-long celebration of all things delicious in the Port City. Each week of October will have a different theme and different recommended restaurants for you to choose from. Whether you’re a seafood fanatic or always in the mood for BBQ, Mobile Foodie Fest will have something for you to dig into.
Mobtown Burger Week: Friday, October 4-Sunday, October 13
Just imagine nine days of nothing but juicy, mouth-watering burgers. If that isn’t appetizing enough, we don’t know what else is. Hosted by Restore Mobile, a non-profit dedicated to refurbishing vacant homes and historic districts, Mobtown Burger Week allows guests to vote on their top 3 specialty burgers. We wonder who will win the crown this year!
Dauphin Street Beer Fest: Saturday, October 5
Would you like a brew with your bites? If so, you’re in luck! Dauphin Street Beer Fest is returning to downtown Mobile for its 26th year. Sample up to 56 craft beers from 14 restaurants. Cedar Street Social, Loda Bier Garten and B-Bob’s Downtown are just some of the participants. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Grilled Cheese Meltdown: Thursday, October 10
Grilled Cheese Meltdown will be serving grilled cheddar, pepper jack and gouda goodness throughout the evening of October 10. Dig in and vote on which business has the best grilled cheese at Cathedral Square.
Mobile Latin Fest: Saturday, October 12
On October 12, Mobile Latin Fest is taking over Mardi Gras Park from 12 - 9 p.m. While immersing yourself in culture, art and music, don’t forget to visit the various food vendors that will be serving classic and modern takes on Latin food favorites.
Mobile Greek Fest: Thursday, October 17- Sunday, October 20
Opa! Mobile Greek Fest is returning to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church for its 62nd year on October 17-20. In addition to the church tours, live performances and other activities, traditional Greek dishes such as souvlaki, gyros and baklava, will be available for purchase.
Wine on the River: Saturday, October 19
Try dozens of different wines from different countries without leaving Mobile! This year’s Wine on the River’s theme is “Around the World.” While you sip the night away, taste various tapas and food samples from the available food vendors.
