Want to feel the sand between your toes? Head to Dauphin Island, just a short 45-minute car ride from Downtown Mobile. This quaint beach community offers fun for the whole family. Make sure to check out historic Fort Gaines, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab & Alabama Aquarium, and the Audubon Bird Sanctuary while on the island.
