Fall into Family-Friendly Fun

Autumn Adventures Await in Mobile

As Mobile’s coziest season, fall is the perfect time of year to savor the annual events, attractions and cherished traditions that make our city go round. With an abundance of pumpkin patches, festivals, spooky adventures and activities galore, the Port City is the place to be with your family this fall.

Roam through our pumpkin patches and corn maze

Make the cutest fall memories at one of our pumpkin patches! Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, Wales West Light Railway and Pop’s Midtown offer some of the most picturesque and fun-filled experiences that everyone in the family will love! Visiting Seward Farms’ during its Fall Fun adventures should be on your check list! Wander through the larger-than-life corn maze, catch a breeze on a hayride, take a ride on the “cowtrain” and enjoy other fall-themed activities.

Savor our fall dishes

Mobile’s food scene is packed with flavor 24/7, but fall brings out the coziest and most delicious plates that you’ll taste this year. Enjoy a delicious cup of gumbo from Felix’s Fish Camp or savor a seasonal charcuterie board at Red or White Wine and Gourmet Center. Soul food platters from Mama’s on Dauphin and cheeseburgers from Callaghan’s Irish Social Club are year-round staples in Mobile, but we crave them a little more in the fall.

Soak in the beauty of fall outdoors

The fall foliage in the Port City is a 10/10. The Great Bellingrath Harvest, Bellingrath Gardens & Home’s annual fall experience, offers so many chances to see the diversity of great outdoors. Don’t miss out on the 62nd Annual Cascading Mums, the nation’s largest cascading mum display!

Cooler temps require a trek through our trails and a paddle through the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta. Check both activities off at Meaher State Park and Historic Blakeley State Park.

Attend a fall festival (or four)

Some of the year’s most highly anticipated events take place in the fall. Fall in love with some of the cultures that call the Port City home at Mobile Latin Fest and Mobile International Fest. Eat your way through our tasty city at Mobtown Burger Week, Grilled Cheese Meltdown or Mobile Greek Fest. Alabama Pecan Festival and Greater Gulf State Fair are should be on your calendars too!
