30% of the NFL is composed of Senior Bowl alumni.

Talk about a big number! The Senior Bowl has long been a proving ground for future stars, with alumni making an impact on rosters across the NFL.

 

The path to the NFL Draft starts at the Senior Bowl.

For many players, Mobile is where draft dreams start to become reality. The Senior Bowl gives top prospects the chance to showcase their skills in front of NFL coaches, scouts, general mangers and executives.

 

The Panini Senior Bowl is one of the four annual bowl games that are hosted in Mobile.

Mobile proudly hosts four bowl games each year, but the Senior Bowl stands apart as the city’s longest-running and most nationally recognized football tradition. Other bowl games hosted in Mobile include the 68 Ventures Bowl, the Gulf Coast Challenge and the Port City Classic.

75 of the 76 Senior Bowl games have been hosted in Mobile.

For decades, Mobile has been the heart and home of the Senior Bowl. Before it became the game we know today, the inaugural Senior Bowl was hosted in Gator Bowl Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. 

 

Every year, various alums who have larger-than-life legacies in the NFL are inducted into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame.

Each year, former players with standout NFL careers are inducted into the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame, celebrating their lasting impact on the game. Previous inductees include Dak Prescott, Terrell Owens, Von Miller and Franco Harris.  

 

Coaches can be inducted too!

The Senior Bowl also recognizes influential coaches whose leadership and success helped shape both the event and the NFL. Paul “Bear” Bryant, Eddie Robinson and Jon Gruden are some of the renowned names on the list.
